GlucoMenu® Homemade Granola
Recipe Ingredients:
1/4 cup wheat germ
2 t. brown sugar
2 T. honey
2 T. canola oil
1 t. vanilla extract
1 t. ground cinnamon
2 T. water
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
1/4 cup raisins
1 3/4 cup dry oats
Recipe Directions:
- In mixing bowl, combine oats and wheat germ, set aside.
- Blend water, cinnamon, brown sugar, honey, oil, and vanilla.
- Stir cinnamon mixture into oats.
- Spread mixture onto large, sheet pan.
- Bake at 275 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Add raisins and walnuts and continue to bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Cool and store in air tight container.
- Makes five servings.
